- Ensuring proper handling and secure transportation of goods
- Verify delivery instructions, addresses, and routes before departing for deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Maintain accurate delivery records, delivery logs, receipts, and invoices
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential
- Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow delivery instructions accurately
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
